Funny thing happened on the way to the record books.
The Castleberry Invitational produced a ton of blazing sprint marks.
Some had a hard time believing them. Turns out they were right.
As meet management went over if anything might have been off they discovered that the relay device between the starter and timing system was delaying which produced times that were, in some cases, 1/2 a second off.
Luckily they did have hand times for some, not all, of the races which will be official now as hand times.
Good news is no matter if you have a time or not the Castleberry Champion will still get credit as being the Invitational Champion.
