I expected the course to be tough & the crowds to be loud. The race was even harder than imagined & the crowds even more incredible! They literally carried me when my legs were finished. Thank you @nycmarathon for a day I will always remember. It required absolutely all of me to battle through every mile but I gave my very best effort for the One who gave it all for me. 9th overall, 3rd American, 2:36

Some days reaching the finish line involves preserving dignity and learning for the next.
