The 4th Annual Santa Rosa Throwers/Vaulters Jamboree and this year is added the Long Jump and Triple Jump will be conducted at Santa Rosa High School at historic Nevers Field on the high school campus.
Address: Santa Rosa High School, 1235 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. The track is accessible from Ridgway Ave south of the school.
Date: Saturday March 18, 2017
Time: 10:00 AM. All events begin competition will begin at 10. Be sure to register with plenty of time to warmup.
Fee: $5 per athlete. Make checks available to PAC. That stands for Panther Athletic Club.
Divisions: Throws, Long and Triple Jump; Boys, Girls. Varsity, Junior Varsity, Frosh /Soph.
Vaulters: Girls and Boy. Opening heights are 6’ for girls and 7’ for boys.
Awards: Custom medals for first, second, and third.
Race day registration only.
Registration begins at 8:30. Please register early.
Mechanics: All throwers, long, and triple jumpers will be given three attempts. The top 8 will advance to finals for an additional three throws. All throws will be measured. No minimum standard.
Weigh In for throwing implements at 8 AM. Warmup for throws at 9:30 AM
Results will be posted on the snack bar for the throws, long, triple and the shed near the pole vault for that event.
There will be a snack bar available for the meet.
Here is the order of throwing, jumping and vaulting. The flights of throws will be randomly seeded for the first three throws.
