Saturday, March 26th produced all but one of the 10 fastest miles in the Nation this year at two meets.
At the Azusa Meet of Champions 14 boys broke 4:12.21 claiming the top spots in the Nation.
Meanwhile in the girls race Sonoma Academy’s Rylee Bowen won that race leading four other girls below the old National leader including the defending CA state champion Amanda Gehrich.
On the other side of the Nation at the Raleigh Relays five girls dipped below the old National leader with Caitlin Collier ending the day with the current National leader at 4:46.63. Both Collier and Bowen are sophomores.
